I’m often asked why I paint crows. People seem to either love ‘em or hate ‘em but I find them fascinating. Their behavior and social structures are a lot like the human species. They display happiness, anger, sadness. They’re known to have ‘funerals’, and mourn their dead. They have a sophisticated communication system and can be taught to speak. Also, they’ll remember your face so be careful to say hello to your local crow. – Deb
